Philosophy of Care

|
Sutter Lakeside Occupational Medicine Clinic has partnered with the Lake County business community since 1995 to create safe work environments and aggressively manage work related injuries. We are Lake County based and have a vested interest in making sure your workplace is productive, healthy and safe.
Our medical providers have training and experience treating work-related injuries and have a successful record rehabilitating injured workers to maximum recovery.
We understand injuries can impact your work place, so it is our mission to treat your employees’ injuries properly and return your employees to duty in a manner that minimizes further injury.
For that reason, Sutter Lakeside Occupational Medicine Clinic recommends functional restrictions to facilitate return to modified duty. The employer determines if they can accommodate these functional restrictions. Research from the American College of Occupational Environmental Medicine shows that employees want to return to work, and patients with no absences from work have the best chance of recovery.
