Join us at our annual fundraiser Salute! Live Auction and Raffle presented by Sutter Lakeside Hospital Foundation.
Salute! is just one way that we at Sutter Lakeside Hospital show our commitment to continually provide high quality medical and wellness care to every resident of Lake County.
Funds raised during Salute! will be used to purchase life-saving equipment for the hospital, and provide ongoing adult and youth educational classes, as well as community support groups.
One of our goals for 2009 is to purchase wireless fetal heart rate monitoring equipment used in the Family Birth Center which enhances the birthing experience, allowing the mother to stay mobile during the critical hours leading up to delivery. Another goal for the Family Birth Center is to purchase a BiliSoft LED Phototherapy System for the treatment of indirect jaundice in newborns. This state-of-the-art technology will allow parents to hold babies born with jaundice in their arms, preventing the infant from spending his/her first days of life in an incubator.
We hope to continue our efforts to enhance each patient’s healing experience by providing in-room accommodations and supplies for family members by purchasing sofa beds, recliners, and cot mattresses for the Medical/Surgical department of the hospital.
Along with numerous other education programs, we hope to raise support so that we can increase the number of children and students served by continuing to offer our Healthy Kids are Contagious (HKAC) program. The HKAC program serves over 4,000 students each school year and we hope to build on the programs already started.
