We Made It!
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we achieved our goal of raising more than $100,000 by the end of 2008. This total, coupled with a $100,000 matching grant from Sutter Health, allows us to purchase the Mobile Health Services Unit, which will roam the back roads of Lake County bringing critical health care services to those who need them the most.
We want to thank all our donors and look forward to recognizing each and every one of you in the upcoming weeks! Keep an eye out for the mobile unit launch celebration in fall 2009 and for the unit to be fully operational in 2010!
The Mobile Health Services Unit is truly a community partnership. Sutter Lakeside Hospital will provide expert staffing and operational assistance; the Program Development Team, led by Elyse Donald, M.D., will continue to assess the health care needs of our community and how this unit can best meet them; and your continued giving will help fund exciting new programs, supplies and equipment necessary to support the mission of the unit within our community.
