The Depression and Bipolar Support Group is for high functioning individuals with Major Depression or Bipolar Disorder, as well as for family and friends.

Depression and Bipolar Support Group

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), Lake County Chapter, is for individuals that are either diagnosed with a mood disorder and/or seeking information on mood disorders, including family and friends.

Mood disorder patients should be seeing a physician and taking medication.

This is a peer-led support group, not a therapy group. We maintain strict confidentiality guidelines and expect participants to do the same.

The support group is an "open group" and does not require a commitment.

There is NO COST / FEE for attending the support group.

The group meets on:

Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Sutter Lakeside Hospital
Cafeteria meeting room (in the back of the cafeteria)
